The Metolius River is restricted to catch and release only for all species. Lake Simtustus: Angling for 8 to 11 inch rainbow trout is fair. Lake Billy Chinook- the Cove Palisades State Park is central Oregon's year-round recreational destination for the entire family. The courses are located at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation and Crooked River Ranch. There is also a driving range in Madras and a nine-hole course at Nine Peaks Golf Course. All are open to public play with reasonable green fees.
