The Best Western Helena Great Northern Hotel at the Great Northern Town Center just opened in June of 2003. It features 101 oversized guest rooms and mini-suites, approximately 8,500 square feet of meeting and banquet space, all in a 100% non-smoking facility. Other features include a complimentary breakfast, 24-hour business center, high-speed Internet access, an indoor pool and fitness center, access to the Great Northern Fitness Center (fee-based), the Silver Star Steakhouse restaurant and the D&E Depot Deli. The hotel also provides complimentary parking and shuttle services to and from the Helena Airport for overnight guests. The hotel is located in the Great Northern Town Center, which includes numerous retail shops, restaurants, office buildings and the carousel. We are located at the end of historic Last Chance Gulch and near Carroll College. The Helena Trolley shuttles guests from the hotel to the downtown and the State Capital Complex, then back on a regular basis. Plans are underway for the completion of the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Plaza walkway through the hotel complex. There are plans for a new eight-plex stadium seating theater and a Science and Discovery museum in the town center area as well. The new hotel and the entire Town Center Complex have added some exciting options for visitors to Helena.
