The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Detroit West was completely renovated in the spring of 2005 with an all new exterior, all new guest rooms and renovated lobby. Accommodations now feature new mattresses and twenty-seven inch televisions with a microwave and small refrigerator in most rooms. Suites and spa suites have been added. The lobby area was expanded and remodeled to include a fireplace and sitting area, business center with computer and printer, exercise room and small meeting room.
